Tramore is another one of Irelands popular spots, can be a little inconsistent, but considering its location it can really deliver. It a fun beach break, and a really nice place to be.
Tramore in Waterford is a fairly exposed beach break that does not work very often with no particular seasonal pattern. The best wind direction is from the north. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the best swell direction is from the southwest. The beach break provides left and right handers. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up.
