Works best on a north northweterly swell, with a southerly wind.
Exposed point break that has inconsistent surf with no particular seasonal pattern. Offshore winds blow from the south with some shelter here from east winds. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the north northwest. The waves is a point break that peels left. Best around low tide. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Watch out for rocks.
